INDUSTRY

Etowah County is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, with the City of Gadsden as its county seat. Our home is one of scenic beauty with miles of stately forests, picturesque lakes, and of course, the Coosa River. Gadsden is a city with a proud heritage. We look with pride to our many historic landmarks which provide a link to our forefather’s pioneering spirit.

Gadsden is also a modern city with a good selection of recreational and cultural activities. Gadsden boasts several museums, a new updated modern public library, and fine arts exhibits.

Recently, Gadsden was given the All-America City Award, America's original and most prestigious community recognition award. It was also recognized as one of the most livable in the nation.

If you love the excitement of big city entertainment and professional sporting events, then Birmingham is just 60 miles away. Etowah County is centrally located between four metropolitan cities, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Huntsville as well as Birmingham. However, you don’t have to leave Gadsden to enjoy all the features of a big city. From art lovers to sports lovers, Gadsden offers a complete package of fun all in one place.

Etowah County enjoys an expanding climate for business and industry. A vibrant, supportive business climate complements our strategic location, affordable real estate, and skilled workforce. These qualities alone attract high-caliber business and industry, yet it's the unmatched quality of life in Etowah County that keeps them here.

Etowah County residents enjoy scenic beauty, rural hospitality, and expanding business climate, along with the conveniences of an easily accessible commercial center.

Etowah County is an excellent place to live and learn!
